<My thinking is an analysis of the grounds of and concepts expressing fundamental beliefs should be reserved for people who know nothing about them...like the Kerry people.>

Sandintoes, the Kerry people make up approximately half the USA, if not more. Now this is NOT the Right Wing Extremist Thread, which, by the way, is the only thread that I have ever been banned from on SI after making one post three years ago for no reason whatsoever. My post wasn't even that liberal.

I understand where you are coming from. And I'm not trying to change your views. I know that is impossible. You are a good, conservative, ALL-American Girl, whatever that means. Actually, I do know what that means from your point of view.

My question to you is this: What makes you think that the Kerry people love America less than the Bush People? It is just a different vision (in some respects) for America or philosophy.

Why so much hostility? What "fundamental beliefs" are you talking about?

What this coming election is all about in many respects is the future direction of the USA in foreign and domestic policy. The people of the USA are deeply divided on fundamental matters of policy. The Liberals in the USA were devastated after the 2000 election. Many of us sold the US Market short after the election to make Bush look like .... I know, it's a war.

The only good thing I can say about President Bush is that he was the Best Friend the Gold Market ever had. From a selfish capitalist point of view, I liked President Bush.
