Bush Approval at 51%
URL:http://www.gallup.com/poll/releases/politElect/
The latest Gallup survey shows President George W. Bush with a 51% approval rating, up slightly from the 48% he has averaged since May. The presidential contest remains tight, with Bush leading Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry among likely voters by two points in a three-way contest that includes independent Ralph Nader, and Bush leading by three points in a two-way contest. A slight majority of Americans continue to disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy, foreign affairs, and the situation in Iraq, while a majority approve of his handling of terrorism

Do you really believe the Liberals would not quickly become disillusioned with their newly elected Pres if he immediately issued an abject apology to UN/France/Germany & begged for their forgiveness on behalf of all Americans? The Kerrys have probably already planned a European tour(special stop at Mozambique) to personally bow & scrape to those thieves who stole from the UN oil for food program. Kerry's cousin's vast estate in Brittany would probably become their summer White House.

The WH entertainment budget would go through the roof as they wined & dined all their former classmates from both respective Swiss boarding schools. Talk about culture shock--from Texas barbeques to Tudor masquerade balls & Jacques Chirac in the Lincoln bedroom. Yikes!!

Great rendition of National Anthem just played for USA's 1st olympic gold medal...young man, swimmer Phelps?, removed his laurel wreath, placed it over his heart & mouthed the words....perfection.
