Bush was AWOL on terrorism prior to 9-11. As we have seen, Bush, Rice, Ashcroft, none of them even mentioned the word "terrorism" publicly before 9-11, focused on other issues and ignored terrorism. It was one of the most costly mistakes in US history and is undeniable. The only question is, why hasn't Bush apologized to the 9-11 families for being asleep at the wheel? Reagan and Kennedy both apologized for their Iran-Contra and The Bay Of Pigs. Bush refuses to. Very arrogant and insensitive.
