Not a single SmearVet ever served with Kerry.
Those in the ad who say they did are completely lying.
Those who say they were 50 yards away from him a few times in action are exaggerating. The only anti-Kerry vet who actually served with him is Steven Gardner who is a well-known mental case whom Kerry wanted court martialed for committing an atrocity despite orders to cease fire.

With friends like these Bush doesn't need enemies.

Kevin, Actually the book's timing is not at all suspicious. In fact, political tradition usually dictates that those who find a presidential candidate "Unfit for Command" to air their opinion or facts much closer to the election. The SwiftVets, being men of character, have published their book with a very charitable timeline for John Kerry. He has plenty of time to refute their revelations.
