The casualties in Iraq are now decreasing. You won't see that reported, but thats whats happening. The Iraquis are doing the heavy lifting now. Al Sadr is a joke and was never followed by the majority Shiites. A new Vietnam? Whoever claimed that is close to being proved a fool.
