This guy was high flyer, minority, very professional and one of the sharpest dressers. Plus he was just a very nice guy. I went thru hell documenting file. my Boss would throw me out of his office and told me it was my problem as i was not developing him, he didn't have any problems until you got him! Not unusual for mangers to pass on their problems than try to resolve them, too much risk to their own careers. I found out a few years later he left company. ps it was my only experience in 35 years with this type of problem. I really was taken back. I had been in a lot of hard core situations in my time. hell's angels as strike breakers, mafia , many thief situations, plugging of books, incompetent people, but never someone who appeared to know exactly what they were presenting with conviction and then turn on a dime like it never happen and then with conviction present just the opposite.
