yes, this country was built in large measure by refugees from your glorious rebellion .... had to defend against its invasions since, as well, and quite successfully i might add [as evidenced by the fact we're still here]

and should Quebec ever separate from Canada, how would the US respond if Quebec adopted France's policy of nuclear non alignment and elected to enhance and protect its sovereignty and automony with nuclear weapons provided by France?

Thanks for the confirmation of my thesis. Rather than a fruitless discussion of who was in the right at that time, I simply observe that resentments seem to linger.
