do not remember providing id to vote. they have a register and you give them your name , address one person checks it off and then other person asks same question and checks it off. then you go to booth. but then i am out in rural country somewhat. to vote you need to be registered and i expect a residence to vote in the district you vote in.

last two elections i voted absentee. as i am usually up visiting relatives in bean town. republican committee send application to the house i fill it out and then at election time ballot comes in mail. i vote, and return in mail.
