That's another anniversary coming up, the murder of Víctor Jara, and three thousand of his countrymen .... it'll be thirty-one years, this 11 september ..... Víctor Jara was a musician who knew Phil Ochs of 'Little Boxes' fame, Ochs had i believe some acquaintance with Bob Bossin of Stringband, who once sang - Well Dief came out of Prince Albert he was raised among the prairie grain he always had a hand for the workin man and i know Dief will be the Chief again .... or something like that [no lyrics on the net for Dief Is The Chief] ..... chilenos never did get quite as ripped off on their copper afterwards as they did pre-Allende .... Pinocho may have financed his secret police and suppression regime with the money, but at least he didn't fork over the whole country back to the DC copper lobby .... so i dunno, you decide if there's a bit of Goodness in the man to ponder as you're hiking the miles to urinate on his grave
