Did you read Kerry's energy independence plan? That was a really solid program to start our country in a direction of energy independence. He spelled out in clear terms what he would do, tax breaks and subsidies for alt.energy. That's something I can support with good conscience. The world we be a much more peaceful and just place if we could make energy more equitable. We're not far off from the point where people will be able to produce their own energy at home, via fuel cells.

All I can say is Bush and his cronies are focused on countries outside of ours, for their own selfish reasons, that's where the resources are to be exploited. Spending $150 Billion on Iraq and Afghanastan?!? What the ##$%?!? A great way to funnel taxpayer monies into the wealthy elite's hands via the military industrial complex. It's an old game, works every time. At least Kerry will move us away from some of these more blatantly wasteful and corrupt policies. Imagine what $150 Billion could do in the USA? It could do a lot.
