Andrew, bad as Kerry's record for attendance may sound, a majority of the American people still consider Bush's record to even worse than that. His failure to sift through the evidence of his intelligence on WMDs, his failure to plan for securing peace because of his haste for waging war, his abandonment of the war on terror when the going got tough in the mountains of Afghanistan, his continuing to bankrupt the US treasury through tax breaks to the rich in times of war etc. are failures that the American people are voting for Kerry, irrespective of Kerry's Senate record.

I watched Sen. Pat Roberts. He sounded like the captain of the sinking Titanic desperately trying to steer it away from the oncoming iceberg.
