Next point - we're not colonizing Iraq. Yeah, right. US troops will be in Iraq for decades "helping" each new puppet government as the previous one crumbles. And all the while the artificial entity called Iraq will keep coming apart. If you think US troops will be out of Iraq in 1, 2, 5 or even 10 years, you are so naive.
