I'm going to offer you an apology (of sorts). Last night I broke my long-standing resolve to never attack other SI posters personally. If ever there was ample provocation it is your lunatic ravings which deter me from posting here. I stand by my comment about John Kerry who is no war hero and whose shameless self-promotion of his brief tour of duty dishonors our long tradition of genuine war heroes. Go to Normandy Beach some day and stand among the long rows of crosses to be near such men and women. I apologize to you for my comments about your citizenship and character. I think the heroes of Normandy would want me to do that --after all, they gave their lives to ensure your freedom to speak.
