They are coming back.

No other choice. Chronic alcoholism is a killer with all aboriginal people. Gets us Irish also. I really don't like the trend toward gambling. The income the Indians get from it is an unearned income. Works on the Indian tribes the same way oil does on the Arab nations. Sure I know some of them work in the casinos and related businesses, but anything that keeps them on the reservations and out of mixing with the rest of the population tends to be bad, IMO.

I shouldn't bother commenting on it. It is not going to change. I will never forget when I ran the Grand Canyon on a raft and we stopped at the place where an Indian reservation came down to the river in the the canyon. Very filthy area. Years of trash, etc. It's the "tragedy of the commons." Land that belongs to everyone belongs to no one. The Rangers made us carry ALL of our waste with us and out of the canyon. But they could do nothing about that area.
