Is this the best you can do to refute my point? Here he clearly says "thousands of other soldiers." How many served in Viet Nam? Just ran a quick google. 2.7 million, it says. So it is a fact--I know how much you like facts-- that, unless you can come up with a more relevant citation from Kerry, O'Neill is blatantly exaggerating, aka lying.

The only reason I made an issue about this is the double standard. Here we have people who are criticizing Kerry for exaggerating/lying about his war record exaggerating/lying about the basis of their criticisms. A number of people have responded to my point but none seems to see the irony and the hypocrisy in that.
