I do find it at least a little bit sad that we are so small that a "short man with bad teeth and a funny voice" can't get elected in this country

Can't be a movie star either. As JFK said, "life isn't fair." But a guy like that can be a pop star.

And puts that stupid, divisive "two Americas" line/s in Edwards speech into the dumb acceptance speech category.

There is only one America full of Americans......warts and all.

Don't waste your 'weeps' kh....After all, Kennedy gets reelected year after year and after the woman riding with him died, while he ran away and didn't try to save her. Byrd is still around after centuries. New Jersey Democrats continue to befuddle even the Mafia.

And William Hung succeeds with SheBoom SheBoom! Which, BTW, makes me glad I'm an American.....He's just wonderful! Not his 'music', but his attitude!!

Besides, Nixon, FDR, Wilson, and LBJ weren't the best looking pencils in the box either, and still they got elected.

I'm not sure it's worth "weeping" over, but I do find it at least a little bit sad that we are so small that a "short man with bad teeth and a funny voice" can't get elected in this country.
