What possible difference did it make if SH abided by the UN resolutions or not?

Israel has been farting in the UN's general direction for decades, and no harm has come from it.

We've been waiting 50 years Israel to abide by UN resolutions! So why shouldn't we invade Israel for occupying their neighbors and flaunting UN resolutions for the them to remove their occupation of The Golan Heights, West Bank and Gaza.
