Brought back memories of how we pulled the rug out from under those people...


Watergate made a huge difference. Ford gave up on the fight. Congress really wanted to cut and run.

I found their opinions about the deaths that would occur after a withdrawal interesting too. Kerry thought there wouldn't be many, 4000 or so. O'Neill thought there would be a great many more deaths than that.

Kerry certainly had the better suit. I want to see more of O'Neill in action. Even then (age 25) he was a killer debater.
