War against terrorist may be real, due in most part to the event on 9/11. Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist. Graffiti vandals are terrorists. Gays make me uncomfortable, are they terrorists? Is Iraq a terrorist? The witches of Salem terrorized their neighbors. Andrew McCarthy’s hunt for American communists in the 1950’s, terrorized innocent citizens. The War on Terrorists is undefined. From what I understand, it does not stop at our borders. Bushes statement, “You are either with us or against us,” statement is not aimed at a single political target, and continues to be an insightful challenge, to all whom want to challenge America. The war on terrorism is an American tradition. The target however, is not specific, but of convenience.
