And he was being disingenuous as hell.

I really haven't come back to this country nor have Vietnam Veterans against the War come back to this country to try in any sense or in any form to show bitterness or to tear the country apart or to tear it down.

Good to see others caught one of at least 3 replays of the O'Neill/Kerry debate on C-span yesterday. Brian Lamb must be a conservative or possibly he received many viewer requests.
Evidently Kerry knew the Dick Cavett audience would be sympathetic to his cause. Did anyone else hear O'Neill say at the end that he & Kerry received invitations from many other shows, but that was the only one Kerry would accept.
