It appears the Australia has become what we once were in the water-beach type sports. I surprised how badly we are doing overall. Currently, we are third in medal count........and the AU have twice as many gold as we do and the Chinese three times as many. The Germans also are smelling up the joint.......I think they are 10th or 11th in medal count with the Dutch, Italy, Ukraine and Turkey ahead of them. Maybe things will improve as the week goes on.
