As with all Bush appointees, Elaine Chao is ANTILABOR and is probably quite gleeful that jobs remain scarce, wages for new jobs (57% this last year) remain lower.... Families of soldiers in San Diego were having to go to food banks. Food banks! Unbelievable. Meanwhile CACI mercenaries earn $100-$200K taxfree for essentially the same mission. Gee. Quit the military, campaign against any draft and join up with Rummy's new private military. At that point, all citizens should join private well-armed militia just in case the private armies decide to come home and decide that their neighbors are enemies as well.
