You would not want the services of Frenchmen anyway...wasn't a French officer to blame for the Black Hawk down incident in Somalia? Afterwards the Pentagon decided to never again place U.S. troops under solely UN command. Half the inhabitants of France fraternized with German occupation forces during WWII.

You would not want the services of international forces like the French anyway...wasn't a French officer to blame for the Black Hawk down incident in Somalia? Afterwards the Pentagon decided to never again place U.S. troops under solely UN command. Half the inhabitants of France fraternized with German occupation forces during WWII.
The effective international forces are already helping in Iraq.
