just being silly, no purpose.. yes, dealt with tax folks on occasion. like when Ford put in the tax credit if you buy a brand new house you got a $2000. tax credit on your return. then two years later they set up a task force to post audit returns to see if people lived in house for two full years before selling it. condition was you had to live in house for two full years. Of course working for large corp. i got transferred after 22 months. so got caught up in audit. The irs was on morning talk shows , nightly news about how they were going to get back these credits from people who didn't remain in their house for two years.

several families i knew paid up the tax after getting caught up in audit. I appealed, found guilty , appealed to tax court then got call and told my return ok since i bought another house.. bad news was it wasn't another brand new house so my next year return will be audited. Meantime i sold that house in three months moved back to old location bought a house there and then moved again in two months to another location. Never bought another brand new unlived in house so the IRS said they were going to get me. you may know how it ended. I think someone came out and said the irs was wasting tons of money chasing small fry while ignoring the big fish.
