Kerry volunteered for combat when he could have done like GW and Cheney and Delay did and skip the war based on being a child of privilege. Bush in particular skipped out big-time, swearing to fulfill his Guard duties at great tax-payer expense, but intead skipping out, dodging his mandatory drug test, disappearing from duty in 1972 then leaving 8 months early in 1973 to go to Harvard. This year he lied about it to Tim Russert. Why aren't conservatives up in arms about that cowardice and dishonesty? So Kerry was a real deal combat hero and Bush was a lying shirker of duty and AWOL coward? Why is there any debate about who is the best commander in chief? It's obvious. Particularly after Bush was AWOL on terror in 2001 and just sat there while the WTC was burning and thousands were dying? Only a brainwashed rightwing dittohead would disagree.
