Remember the adage, believe NOTHING of what you read and only 1/2 of what you see. You are basing your comments on the NEWS. The media has proven itself to be nearly totally unreliable anymore. Have you talked to ANY returning servicepeople that were there? I have talked to a lot, covers all branches and all occupations from grunts to intelligence people, they ALL SAY to me at least the Iraqi people by and large are HAPPY AS HELL we are there and grateful for our assistance. OF COURSE the religious muckety mucks want theocracy, SURELY you are smart enough to guess WHY. But that doesnt mean JOE SMOE wants it. As to Sadr, even the MEDIA calls him a THUG. He has his retinue from the poor folks of Iraq whom his DAD helped NOT HIM, but he is PROMISING them the MOON. You believe him? You would if you had nothing else to believe. jdn
