Kevin...Seriously, you might just want to read the book Unfit for Command before you trash it. I don't think you will find many people even caring if Kerry has the medals or not....his records will tell how he earned them, if Kerry signs the order to let them out. If not...one just has to wonder what he is hiding.

There are 250+ SwiftBoat Vets for Truth, and 60 of those Vets know Kerry from working with him in Vietnam. There are sworn statements in the book. They also didn't form a "Corporation" meaning that they can be sued personally if they aren't telling the truth.

I've heard some on the radio, TV and SI say, "right wing conservative paid for their ad........"

Are you comparing $100,000 to over $12,000,000 that Soros has funded various Dem 527's with, to pay for ALL the ads that moveon.org and moveon.pac and all their derivatives...

Soros is buying the Democratic Party, and is trying to buy the US election!!!

There are way too many questions. BUT the biggest question of all is WHY DID KERRY ELECT TO BRING HIS VIETNAM STORY as the ONLY STORY he could stand on at his Convention????? There are 34 later years until the present from VietNam days, including 20 as a US Senator.

What are his accomplishments as a Senator?

We all know that a young LT jg isn't probably the material we would make a judgement about when voting for President of the US. Even if you agreed with him completely then, he didn't have enough experience.

Still doesn't in my opinion.

What stupidity would call one's draft obligation meager. In the prime of life one had to give a few too several years. Calling that meager is idiotic. The President chose honorable National Guard Service.

General Tommy Franks has stated PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH has provided "quality leadership".

It is claimed by the Author of UNFIT for COMMAND that John Kerry has been documented over 50 times telling of his Christmas in Cambodia. Just once in the Congressional Record is a huge deal when telling a lie.

I am a child of the Fifties. Why is the lie above so important. I did a google of truth justice and the American way as I learned in part what being an American was by the book, movies and TV I read or watched while growing.

By todays standards the Character of Superman was corny. But in fact being a true American is adopting some corny simple beliefs.

With google I found this written. The first several paragraphs do a good job of explaining the corny. The do a wonderful job of describing my own fellings about telling the truth. To any person who values truth in the simple corny American way the black and white of Kerry being UNFIT for COMMAND is crystal clear.

In UNFIT for COMMAND you will hear 60 Vets express their own corny concept of Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

And for the record, to this American a human of born at the moment of conception.

Truth, Justice, and the American Way

By David Chandler

[This was prepared to deliver as a Webb School chapel talk but never delivered.]

As I was growing up, every T.V. episode of Superman had an introduction that described our hero as a defender of "Truth, Justice and the American Way". The pledge of allegiance talks about "Freedom and Justice for all". Thomas Jefferson, in the Declaration of Independence declared, "We hold these truths self evident, that all men are created equal". I grew up taking the values America stands for very seriously. I always thought of this country as special.

I am not for America because we are the richest nation or the most powerful nation. We may not always be the richest or most powerful nation. Rather, I believe in what America stands for.

Why do America's values seem so right? Is it because we are better than the rest of the world? No! If we truly believe in equality, then we have to realize that we are no better or worse than anyone else anywhere. We are not the only people in the world who value freedom. We are not the only ones who recognize when justice is done or not done. We do not have a monopoly on the truth. Equality, Freedom, Justice, and Truth are not just American values, they are fundamental human values. They seem right because they are right, and they are recognized as being right by ordinary people the world over. All human beings, wherever they are born, are worthy of respect, the right to live in peace with their neighbors, the right to make choices that will affect their lives, and the right to fair treatment. If we really believe all men are created equal, we can't draw boundaries in our minds between ourselves and the rest of the world.
