I'll let someone else do the point-by-point fisking. The whole tone is that of a defense attorney being forced to admit that the prosecution story, while false in toto, might just possibly have one or two points of truth in it, though he quickly adds that they haven't proved their case, not a bit of it.

Is this point about none of the guys on Kerry's boat being in the ad true? O'Neill keeps mentioning Gardener and Schacte (sp?) as swiftvets who were on the same boat, why aren't they in the ad (if they're not)?

Also laughed with this sentence: "War is by definition chaotic, and people are not taking notes in battle," said Jeffrey Berry, a political science professor at Tufts University in Medford, Mass.

He is wrong: Kerry WAS taking 8 mm pictures.......
