I find nothing to disagree with there. I have said many times that Kerry's war record would never have become an issue if he had let it speak for itself. He would have enjoyed respect and honor for his service. I did my time when I enlisted as a teenager, was honorably discharged -- and then shut up about it for the rest of my life. All the guys I know did the same. As soon as Kerry pulled the "I'm John Kerry, Reporting for Duty!" stunt at the DNC it became open season on his record. You reap what you sow. For his adversaries who looked closely it has turned out to be a rich harvest.
