Well, that's new information. I was under the impression that Golan Cipel did not have sex with McGreevey but was threatening him with a lawsuit as a way of forcing McGreevey to give him money, and when McGreevey went public about being gay, he had no more leverage.

Definitely a "he said, he said" situation.

I should clarify - the reason I mentally dismissed the allegations is that the story broke last week, but no lawsuit has been filed. I would not say I planned on filing a lawsuit and then sit on it, the cross examination would be vicious, suggesting that the motive was blackmail. Better to file immediately.
