here's three reasons to vote against bush
1. with a very compliant republican congress, he has too much power to go with his very poor judgement. it would be better to have a split government.

2. he and cheney are doing great irreversible damage to our national heritage by logging roadless and wilderness areas under the guise of fire prevention; strip mining the foothills of the rockies in wyoming and colorado and backing away from clean, clean water and other needed environmental regulations (yes, we do need government to enforce these).

3. to have a successful economy, we need prosperity for the broad middle class and opportunity for those trying to break out of poverty. they are the consumers and the work force that is the backbone of america. bush lied when he campaigned as a compassionate conservative. we need a change.

"I don't see anything unusual there...."

I agree.

Being reported to your local draft board for induction into service after being reported absent without leave by one's Guard superiors should be be normal course of affairs.

Simply following the regulations. (Lucky to not wind up in the stockade, though....)
