Why is it that with all the "regime change" the US has been involved in over the decades they have never set up a democracy? They just hand pick some mob type and hand him the government.

Why did Bush lie about going AWOL to Tim Russert? He had his chance to clear things but he just had to lie and cover up. There is not one ounce of truth GW ever showed up for 15 months there in 1972-1973. In fact he admits taking off 8 months early to go to elitist Harvard. Boy would a lot of military guys love to do that. All they need is a father named Bush.
