It's 'immoral' to sacrifice potential profits in an effort to do what one thinks will help their society????????

That depends on whether she knowingly and purposely ticked off the audience (who, imho, behaved very immaturely). In this case, it matters not whether her pov was reasonable. It's not immoral to be stupid.
