Don't think so, but would have to see the transcript of his talk. Actually, it was simply amazing to me that he didn't. We may have thought we knew everything when we were 21 and 22...but then we grew up and faced the real world. Being in the service, probably made Kerry grow up faster. BUT... Running a Swift Boat (50 feet long, with 5 other sailors and the officer) wasn't like running an Aircraft Carrier. Or being Chief of Naval Services, or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Has Kerry ever run his own small (under 500 employees) for even 5 years? Or has he always had only government service? Supplementing that with rich wives.
