I, for one, would be interested in knowing who wrote up the after-action report of the incident that resulted in Kerry's being awarded the Bronze Star.

Rassman, the SF who fell off Kerry's boat, has stated that he wrote up Kerry for a Silver Star for the action. I have no doubt he also wrote up the other crewmen on the boat who got ribbons out of it. Kerry's Silver was reduced to a bronze.

It is logical that the after action was copied off of Rassman's paperwork. The other crewmen who now back Kerry have a good reason to do so on this action. They also got awards.

I am trying to make two points, one narrow, one not so narrow.

The narrow point is that nobody is going to take away John Kerry's medals this long after the fact.

The not so narrow point is that others who were there are not bound by reports they did not make, but their reports are subject to all the questions we ordinarily give to reports made long, long after the fact.

Looks like Kerry did not tell the truth to the Senate in 1971, about Cambodia, nor did he provide proof for the horrible things he said he did, and that he said some of his fellow military people did as well. NO PROOF! Just words that embroiled a Nation.

If he did not tell the truth to the Senate all those years ago, and yet bases his candidacy for President on those years, can we afford to have him in the White House?
