I think you found it for me. I did not realize that Word was treating the carriage return as the end of a sentence. I find that irritating because Word should be looking for a period instead of a carriage return. Sentences don't end because
you hit the
carriage return. Period. (I mean, "carriage return")

If so why hit it?

A word processor should take care of all spacing for you-and automatically return when appropriate.

If that is what Stan is doing, then I would suggest not doing it as it is not necessary-

We are not using our grandfathers' old typewriter.<g>
