There is definitely an element of political self-destructiveness going on here. The Kerry campaign goes to extreme length to portray the candidate as just another guy. Then he flies his hairdresser across the country to touch up his coiffure. Unbelievable. We may be watching the first suicide accomplished by pulling out one of his own fingernails at a time.
