One of the most effective swords in the battle against phoneys is Satire.

The phoney is not smart enough to figure out satire's true intent. By the time someone else explains it to him, his blood has already drained away from the stroke of the satirist's sword.

(The only thing a satirist needs to remember, however, is that satire is a two edged sword and has to be weilded carefully.
