At the height of his powers, Winston Churchill was noted for his frenzied imbibulation.

At a State Dinner, Winston was seated next to one of matrons of British High Society, a carpetbagger from Virginia named Lady Astor.

With the most impeccably over-the-top "Queen's English" Lady Astor scorned Winston with the admonishment that he was drunk.

Unperturbed by Lady Astor's impertinent comment, Winston fired back that "Yes, Madam, I may indeed be drunk, and you are surely ugly. But in the morning I'll be sober."

And with that, you are on "ignore", you bore.
