The CIA and past and present administrations on both sides of the aisle have made much of the Arab world hate us passionately. And it didn't have to be that way. America is not perfect, but it is still the best damn country in the world. You choose to focus on the small amount of negativism. I choose to look at my country in a different light. Anytime there is a natural disaster ANYWHERE in the world, who is usually one of the first on the scene? The USA. The citizens of the US are probably the most giving in the entire world. We desire democracy for other countries. We're not there to take anybody over. The left claimed the Gulf War was all about oil. Guess what, we didn't take it. From the beginning of this war, the left claims it's about oil. Guess what, we didn't take it. There is a strong possibility that the eventual control of the world's oil could be in either one or two's hands, The USA or terrorists. For the world's well being, I choose the USA. Who do you choose? The Arab world hates us? Big deal.
