Kerry feels like he's going to win...and he won't walk out of Iraq like the chickenshit Spaniards did after being elected. We lost almost 1000 men there already and have over 6000 injured...we can't walk out. It's a hornet's nest... Dumbya's mistake has to be corrected without dumb impulses...

"would have voted for it today" You mean: would have voted for the Congressional resolution giving the President authority to take us to war... if, in the President's judgement, that was the appropriate and necessary course.... (Which is, of course, what actually happened.) That's somewhat different from 'take us to war'. There was no Declaration of War (and I rather think that any aspiring 'President-to-be' would favor enhanced Presidential war-making powers....)
