what award did Thurlow get for the action. What are the requirements get the award? If you can only get this award if under fire i do not understand his response. He says he thought he got it for saving the Swiftboat that had been mined. That action was in response to a hostile action This action report undermines his account significantly, and will be trumpeted by the Kerry Kamp. I knew that things like this were going to come up. I think he has a good explanation, but it makes no difference, it will be lost in the "noise" of the whole "food fight" going on. But there is so many other questions out there that the fight will go on. Kerry's Cambodia account is no longer "operative," as the Nixon folk used to say. He is under great pressure to file a form 180, and he is twisting and turning to avoid it. This tells me he knows something is there he doesn't want disclosed. His first Purple Heart is pretty well history. I suspect the submission he finally made to get it is the thing he doesn't want disclosed. We have "miles to go before we sleep," on this whole subject.
