True heros in the real war situation would likely not have paid much attention to any wording in the citation. Real heros put up with accepting a medal knowing other not they are the real heroes. The mindset of being a true American hero is character and nobility beyond your comprehension. I know kerry did not hear President Nixon say no troops were in Cambodia on Christmas in 1968 while he sat in Cambodia. If one is an astute liar, one tells triple decker lies. And I know an accomplished yachtman who kept a personal journal would know the truth and not have such a false recollection. I have found out that the Coast Guard maintained loran station in Vietnam from 1966. It seems to me that Swift Boats would have loran receivers that basically functioned back then like GPS does today.
