Well Dipy, I know you are very familiar with the politics and culture of the world especially in those regions. And so do I. hence it just does not amaze me that your opinion on this should be the same as mine.

I had a problem with Bush in 2000 when I learnt that he had no knowledge as well as any experience in the world arena. America's success as a nation is very dependent on the other nations of the world since the US is part of the global community. This man knows nothing about it and does not care about the other nations. His being President breeds a generation of people who also say "to hell with the world. We will go and do whatever we feel like." And I totally disagree with that approach. The secret to America's glory lies in its ability to work with other nations of the world.

Wonder how Blair is still surviving in Britain since the British are more friendly on a global basis.
