Thurlow is a liar,from personal experience, I know along with the Bronze Star, you get a report of why the Star is being awarded. If he didn't object then, then he was dishonest in accepting the award.

He probably accepted the false commendation like most people would have. It is a rare guy who after the establishment awards a coveted award for real bravery, would turn the award in because of embellishments surrounding the bravery. I would have done it. But you certainly wouldn't have. I doubt Thurlow would have or most of those folks. They sat on this stuff for over 30 years, knowing Kerry was lying about "Christmas in Cambodia," for example. They knew it was a lie, but it is hard to go against the establishment, whether it is for or against you. I don't think these men are saints or that they ever claimed to be. But they have already presented enough irrefutable evidence proving Kerry is a liar. Their own alleged flaws are just irrelevant in this particular situation - especially since they are running for nothing. They have proof and have already caused Kerry to retract what he claimed was "seared" in his memory. (what a liar)
