I won't argue against what you said. But keep in mind that we are assuming a large risk. If one of us did become ill it could easily ruin us financially. We're betting for now that that won't happen. Someday we hope to have reasonable health care insurance. We were quite happy paying for it 10 years ago when the price was more reasonable. Before that we both had employer provided insurance. We do have a little money put away in case of emergencies too. I'd say we are better off than many. Problem arises in the fact that our income stream has been chopped in half. We're hoping for better economic times to come...and that's why we're both voting for Kerry. Orca
