BCBob, OMNI -- Hold that thought for a day or 2, will ya?

Seriously, they are due to announce 2Q very shortly, at which time we should also get some more clues as to how they think all their recent acquisitions are gonna do. At that time we will all be in a much better position to see what their chances are of beating back those forced redemptions of their toxic convertibles, without having to issue more stock.

Being the crazy fool I am, I have been buying it a little notwithstanding the above, I just can't resist putting $$$ on the underdogs I guess.

re OMNI -10Q is out and it looks like this company is a mess.
compared to 12/31/04
Liabilities increased from 25M$ to 52M$
Shareholder equity down to 17M$ from 23M$
Revenues are up by 30%, but sharecount is also up by roughly 20%

This quarters operating FCF was -4M$ if you back out the 7M$ acquisition cost for Trussco. OMNI's bondholders will not like this report.

I averaged down to an average cost basis of $4 today. Chart shows some considerable support from 2.75 to 3.00 IMO:

The first call estimate for FY 2005 is $1.10 (only 1 analyst estimate) and > 0.25 per quarter may be doable as early as next quarter per some calculations (Crossy who follows the company closely):

I probably jumped the gun adding at 3.08 today. Some scary words in the 10Q about technical defaults on some of their loans. It probably won't go much higher until that is resolved. OTOH it may trade at a premium if/when the default is cured.
