Wrong. we have just discovered that he had his citation changed on his Silver Star

EDIT: I see reading further that this has been addressed.

If you are challenging something, best to be factual. The citation for the Silver Star was signed by Zumwalt. Lehman signed the citation for the Bronze Star.

Perhaps you know a bit about after-action reports. Would they not have been signed by the author or at the least would the writers name not be on them? If so, it should be easy enough for the a copy of the original reports to be dug up under a Freedom of Information request so we could see who wrote them. From what I have seen of military documents, they all seem to be signed by someone.

Here is another thing I find strange in the May 13 saga for which Kerry received the Bronze Star. The swifties say Kerry's boat received no damage. However the after-action report details considerable damage to Kerry's boat, enough that it couldn't continue on patrol. Do you think that this was a total fabrication? What would be Kerry's motivation for a false damage report and how could he not expect to be found out if the boat was not actually damaged.

As far as Thurlow not knowing about his Bronze Star, would his CO not have mentioned to him that he was putting him in for one. It was only ten days after the event.

I realize true believers try to say that Thurlow is not discredited but I'd think that the undecided voters might question Thurlow's version of events.
