Start with Kerry's records and then cross reference unit records and records of ALSTON for instance. I have no problem with the fella that fell in the water. As reported they sprayed both banks with the 50s to supress possible fire after the mine went off. He was diving under water as he said up and down. He had no clue what was happening. With the 50s firing in both directions I am sure Lt. Rasman was disoriented and scare. He had every right to be. His perspective was very poor and the others were of course on top and not only with full view, but controlling the fire.

Not to knock him, but he reminds me of Chris Farley ;)

You don't suppose that when Sandy Berger was altering history at the National Archives he was digging through Kerry after-action reports and stuffing them in his socks, or adding new versions to the historical record, do you?
