"2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

This clearly means the Church that Christ ordained is the only authoritative interpreter of scripture! This is also clear by looking at the canon of scripture. First the Apostles and disciples wrote the words under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and later their successors(some 300 yrs later) determined in council which writings should be considered divinely inspired scripture.

Yet the question remains, of man, who has correctly divided?

I believe, from my reading of the Word from our Father in Heaven, that He gives to us as we are ready to understand it. Further more, having listened to many sermons by many pastors from different christian faiths, I have witnessed truths from scriptures I had never seen before let alone ever considered.

There is One Truth, Jesus Christ. There is one path, Jesus Christ. However, no one individual is like any other completely. Therefore, it is unlikely every individual will ever agree with every other individual completely. God in His infinite wisdom I "presume" knows this, and I "presume" created us this way for a purpose. In my "presumed" opinion.

Respectfully,

Mike
